this place was low-budget and the staff was helpful. a spacious kitchen was great and had a microwave oven, an electric kettle and a washing machine. kudos to manager. central location. we found nice university cafe nearby with hot beverages.

Hotel is very clean. Within walking distance to attractions, including ian potter museum of art. It is 15 mins by foot from the bus station. The rooms met the purpose.

Every place we wanted to visit including royal exhibition building was a short walk to this hotel. Lots of restaurants to eat close by, like Brunetti that was only 5 minutes' walk away. We greatly enjoyed Quest Clocktower On Lygon. Use private parking on-site if you travel by car.
